Discipline / Throbbing Gristle / English / England / 1981, 2004


TG (Throbbing Gristle ), now known as XTG, were an english experimental avant –garde group of the end of ’70-s and beginning of ’80-s. The group consisted of four people namely: Genesis P-Orrige, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Peter Christopherson and Chris Carter. The group was part of the artistic movement name COUM TRANSMISSION, which was initiated by Genesis P- Orrige at the end of the 60-s and remained active for almost a decade. The collective was mostly know for their strong performances and provocation to common sense.
Here down you will find two performance of the same ‘song’, called Discipline. The songs are performed from the same group with with 31 years of difference between the first performance of the 1981 and the second performance of the 2004.
The band has made several albums under several names and has collaborated with different artists and projects.  They have made their own label, respectively Industrial Records.
